M.A., Sociology, University of Wisconsin-Madison
Professor Solon Simmons discusses the potential government shut-down and its impact on federal workers and the public. Simmons says it looks pretty dark at this point and no one knows if there is a chance to resolve the matter before midnight. He says the shutdown will affect the image of both parties, but the Republicans will feel the brunt of the backlash. Interview conducted on CTV by Dan Matheson, April 8, 2011. Video courtesy of CTV.
