Valentine's Day Luncheon Special!
Malta's Surprising Role as a European leader in the fight for LGBT rights and gender justice
Tuesday, February 14, 2017
12:00pm - 2:00pm
Metropolitan Building, Room 5183
Dr. Helena Dalli, Malta's Minister of Social Dialogue and Consumer Rights, will lead a discussion on Tuesday, January 14, on how her own very small, traditionally catholic nation became a leader in the European movement for LGBT rights and gender justice.
A leader of Malta's Labour Party, Dr. Dalli is one of Europe's most dynamic and sought after political figures. She is also a longtime supporter of S-CAR and its Matese-based Master's program. There will be time for an exciting interactive discussion, so don't miss this chance to meet her.
Light refreshments will be served!
