Even before the presidential election of 2016, political divisions in the United States were deepening and the number and size of political protests, rallies, and other “actions” were growing. That election and its aftermath have seen a further spread and intensification of protests and demonstrations against or in support of policies announced by the new administration in Washington.

What is the meaning and effect of such demonstrations? Do they accomplish anything? What can we expect in the coming months and years? Come and participate in an interactive discussion of the issues that interest you with knowledgeable speakers and audience members.
