The Center for the Study of Narrative and Conflict Resolution welcomes Scholar-Practitioner in Residence, Dr. John Winslade (Ph.D.) for a Narrative Mediation Workshop on April 26-27. Dr. Winslade is the Associate Dean of the College of Education at California State University San Bernardino and a Professor of counseling. He brings with him an expertise in narrative approaches to conflict resolution with an emphasis on narrative mediation, narrative therapy, and multicultural counseling. He has been on the Board of Conflict Resolution Quarterly and was a founding member of the Board of the Journal of Conflictology. He is the co-author with Dr Gerald Monk of two books on narrative mediation Narrative mediation: A new approach to conflict resolution; and Practicing Narrative mediation; Loosening the grip of conflict.
This workshop is free and open to the entire S-CAR community, and is an extraordinary opportunity for anyone interested in learning narrative mediation practices and deepening their understanding of narrative approaches to conflict resolution more broadly.
