Join One Common Unity and the School for Conflict Analysis and Resolution for a film screening about a group of teenagers who board a bus for West Virginia, leaving the streets of Washington, DC to participate in an ambitious peace education program. Through breathtaking visuals from street corners to mountaintops, Fly By Light is an intimate exploration of the chaotic, confusing, and emotional journey to rewrite a young person’s future. Prof. Arthur Romano and graduate student Liz London will be part of the discussion after the event.
About the Panel:
Hawah Kasat the founder of One Common Unity and several of the youth participants featured in the film will be joined by Dr. Elavie Ndura, Professor of Education and Presidential Fellow for Diversity and Inclusion and Dr. Arthur Romano Assistant Professor at the School for Conflict Analysis and Resolution in a spirited discussion of film.
