Ramesh Sepehrrad

Biography

Dr. Sepehrrad is a scholar practitioner from School of Conflict Analysis and Resolution (SCAR) at George Mason University, and has focused her research and field work on Iranian affairs as it relates to human rights, gender equality and U.S. policy. From 1992-2006, Dr. Sepehrrad served as conference director, moderator and panelist at various academic institutions, congressional seminars and United Nations events in North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America. In March 1997, she moderated a ground-breaking conference, "Women Against Fundamentalism," at George Mason University. She has written several articles and papers which have been published in The Brown Journal World Affairs, The Washington Post, The Washington Times, Women e-news, United Press International, Feminist Voice, Global Politician, and American Chronicle. On multiple occasions, she has appeared on DC metro area television and radio news broadcasts including ABC 7, NBC 4, WUSA 9 and WTOP radio. In addition to her executive experience in technology and corporate America, Dr. Sepehrrad also has led non-profit entities and served on multiple advisory boards in the United States. She has been Adjunct Faculty at George Mason University since 2006 teaching courses on Global Conflict Analysis and Gender.
