Ethics, broadly defined, is vital to conflict and conflict resolution. To expand upon this theme, the conference speakers examine conflict-related topics from a normative perspective. These include gender and conflict, power dynamics, human rights, fairness as a basic need, tensions between peace and justice, culture and power, the moral live of conflict actors, and alternative visions of conflict resolution.
