Acknowledging her work in the Dialogue & Difference Project, Patricia A. Maulden was awarded a University Life Fellowship. The fellowship, in part, focuses on developing and implementing a panel discussion and facilitated dialogue series that engages topics relevant to the Mason Community's fall International Education Week and spring International Week. The three-part series, Global Roots & Campus Dynamics: Exploring International & University Linkages, breaks into topical areas: (1) Emerging Nations & Separatist Movements - Dynamics & Effects; (2) Identities in Question - Group & Individual Engagement; and (3) Dynamics & Identity - Symbolic Representation. In addition to the practical components of the project, Dr. Maulden will design an evaluation instrument to be used at each event, collect data regarding faculty and student opinions on identity and representation, compile and analyze the data, and write a research report to be shared with University Life.
