Christopher Mitchell received a Distinguished Scholar Award from the International Studies Association - Peace Studies Section. The award and reception was sponsored by the School for Conflict Analysis and Resolution at George Mason University, The United States Institute of Peace (USIP), Keesing's World News Archive, the Hague Institute for Global Justice, Rotary Peace Centers, Lynne Rienner Publishers, the Ph.D. in International Conflict Management (INCM) at Kennesaw State University (KSU), International Peace and Conflict Resolution, School of International Service at American University, and the Center for Applied Conflict Management at Kent State University. The award was given at ISA's annual conference in New Orleans in February 2015.
