Ryan Mu Chiao Chiu
Ryan Mu-Chiao Chiu is a Master’s student at the School for Conflict Analysis and Resolution. He holds a B.A. in English from National Dong Hwa University in Hualien, Taiwan. Prior to the Master’s program at S-CAR, Ryan served in the military in Taiwan as a drill instructor. He also conducted conflict analysis and resolution related workshops in multiple youth forums.
Ryan is currently focusing his time and energy on youth peace programs that involve high intensity, deep level dialogues. In addition to designing and implementing workshops, he is particularly interested in post-workshop dynamics, such as participant reentry, application of knowledge, long-term impacts, etc.
