S-CAR's Dialogue and Difference Project brings together students, faculty, staff and community members
to discuss current controvesial and important issues.

Topic: Ferguson Missouri
There are many events shaped around the occurances in Ferguson. This panel discussion and dialogue adds to that particularly as it allows students and attendees to engage directly with each other on the serious issues raised by the particular case as well as the larger implications, dynamics, trends, and opportunities. Stuctural violence, race relations, and community conflicts are just some of the issues that will be discussed through the lens of conflict resolution.

In addition, the Project is conducting a dialogue facilitation training session on Tuesday, September 9 at 7:30 pm in the Northeast Module II Conference Room. Attendees will be given an overview of facilitation techniques, how to handle difficult situations or individuals within a dialogue setting, and how to encourage greater group participation. All are welcome to attend whether or not they will be able to attend the dialogue on the 23rd.

Tuesday, September 23, 7:30pm - 9:00pm
