Hello Graduates!
We are looking forward to celebrating your graduation during the Convocation ceremony on May 14th 2015. Below you will find important information to help make the evening run smoothly.
Congratulations!
Please arrive no later than 5:00 P.M. to the Center for the Arts Building. We will be conducting a "Walk-Through" of the events for the evening promptly at 5:30 P.M. and it is very important that all students who are participating be there by this time. Please enter through the main entrance of the Center for the Arts. A staff member will direct you to the check-in desk and waiting room.
Doors to the Center for the Arts will be open for Guests at 5:45 P.M. Parking is available for guests free of charge in the general lots A, C, K, and L. Free parking is also available in Mason Pond parking deck.

Students will not be allowed to have food or drinks in the waiting areas before the ceremony, also the waiting area is not a place to store your personal belongings (bookbags, purses, etc.) so please leave your personal belongings with your family/guests. Remember to bring your Cap & Gown!There will be a small reception following the ceremony, where snacks will be provided. This is not a meal, so please prepare accordingly, as the ceremony will be about 1.5 to 2 hours in length. Cap and GownsCaps and Gowns are available for purchase throughout the week until Saturday May 16th at the George Mason Bookstore, Fairfax. Graduates can also purchase on Thursday May 14th. Caps and Gowns can also be donated after the ceremony.
