Meir Walters is a Ph.D. Candidate at Georgetown University’s Department of Government. His research focuses on Egypt, where he has conducted fieldwork for the past two years. From 2012 to 2013, he was a Fullbright fellow in Egypt and a fellow at the Center for Arabic Study Abroad (CASA) at the American University in Cairo.
